Meet Paige Goss, Power of Extended Philanthropy (PEP) Member and Founder & CEO at Point Solutions Group

Paige Goss of Denver opens up about her love of carving pumpkins, her philanthropic slogan focused on turning dreams into possibilities, and the moment her own philanthropic journey ignited.

Tell us something not many people know about you?

My favorite thing to do every year is carve pumpkins.

If you had a personal philanthropic mission statement or slogan, what would it say?

My philanthropic efforts are focused on dismantling barriers and fostering environments that allow dreams to turn into possibilities and realities.

At what point in your life did your personal philanthropy become important to you?

It has always been important but one year when I was in my early 20s my family decided to not give each other Christmas gifts and pool all of our money to give to women and children at a shelter. It was at that point that I realized the power of collective giving and started my own philanthropic journey.

What about WFCO’s mission, “catalyzing community to advance and accelerate economic opportunities for women,” resonates with you?

It all resonates with me, but I think the most important phrase is “catalyzing community.” Together we can do great things.

Who is a woman mentor on your journey you would like to shout out? Why?

My grandma – she didn’t graduate college and she reached the highest level as a financial analyst at Boeing. She taught me perseverance, grit, and the constant drive to be better.

If you had to teach a class, what would it be?

Bootcamp – likely a cycle bootcamp.

What is the most pivotal moment in your career?

The day I decided to start my own company in 2017.

Where do you find the most joy in your life?

Spending time with my wife and 6-year-old twins.

What would you tell your 15-year-old self?

You are worth it, and you are enough. Every dream you want is out there for you, just don’t ever give up.

What is your favorite place or activity to do in Colorado?

Activities with my kids in Winter Park.

What movie scene lives in your head rent free?

Final fight scene of the original Top Gun.

Should pineapple exist on pizza? What is your favorite pizza topping?

Yes, pineapple on pizza is great. My favorite pizza topping is sausage.

What is the most binge-worthy show? No judgement 😊

Succession.
